Skilled Visas

Understand skilled visa pathways, expressions of interest and state nomination.

Understand where your skills could take you.

Skilled migration considers your occupation, qualifications, work experience, English and points, alongside the requirements of the visa being explored. Independent, state-nominated and regional options have different criteria; a strong background does not by itself guarantee an invitation or visa.

This service is for skilled professionals planning a move to Australia, workers already here and people revisiting their options after a change in circumstances. Infinia supports skilled visa planning, expressions of interest, state nomination and applications.

How assessment, an EOI and nomination fit together

A skills assessment checks your qualifications and experience against the standards for a nominated occupation. An expression of interest (EOI) records your background in SkillSelect so you can be considered for an invitation. Where a pathway involves state or territory nomination, that government has its own requirements and process.

Plan the sequence before investing in it

The steps depend on your pathway and what you already have in place. An EOI is not a visa application and does not guarantee an invitation. Understanding the relationship between assessment, points, nomination and an eventual visa application helps you focus your preparation.

Common areas we can discuss

  • Skilled Independent visa — subclass 189
  • Skilled Nominated visa — subclass 190
  • Skilled Work Regional visa — subclass 491
  • Expressions of interest through SkillSelect
  • State and territory nomination considerations
Individual advice matters

Migration pathways, eligibility and evidence requirements depend on your circumstances and the law in effect at the time advice is provided.

How we can help.

We look at your background as a whole, not just a points total. Your consultation identifies the options worth exploring and the questions to resolve. If you want ongoing assistance, we agree its scope separately before work begins.

  1. Review your skilled profile

Review your occupation, qualifications, work history, English results and current points position.

  2. Map the possible pathways

Compare potentially relevant options and explain how assessment, an EOI, nomination and visa application stages may fit your circumstances.

  3. Prepare your next submission

If you choose our assistance, we can support your expressions of interest, nomination and skilled visa applications with careful evidence preparation.

Bring your background into focus

Have your occupation or CV, qualifications, work history and any existing English-test or skills-assessment results ready. Include your current location and visa, plus any EOI or nomination already underway. You do not need every answer before speaking with Sol.
